Breast Exam

Introduction
The breast exam is best done one week after the last menstrual period (LMP) begins.
Include the neck, chest wall, both breasts, and axillae.
Inspection
Inspect for assymetry, skin changes, and nipple retraction.
Paget's lesions are often caused by malignancy.
Palpation
Palpate for masses and lymph nodes.
