Introduction
PET, or positron emission tomography, is used to identify metabolically a ctive. Is frequently combined with CT.
PET can be used for diagnosis, staging, and management. Sensitivity and
False positives can be seen immediately after radiation.
Can get false positives with brown fat activation, with fear or shivering.
