Introduction
Intraosseous (IO) access can provide a route of delivery for fluids and medications during recuscitation, if IV access is not available.
It can be rapid in many situations, can be used in all ages, and any drug or fluid given IV can also be given IO.

This procedure may be practiced using a chicken bone and methylene blue dye.
